In 2019, 27,9000 North Carolinians experienced homelessness. If you or a loved one are currently struggling with homelessness, or adjusting to the rebirth of your personal journey in society, then we warmly invite you to explore the following resources below to aid in your process. 

  • NC Coalition To End Homelessness: the “is currently working to end homelessness by: advocating for policy change and adequate funding at the local, state, and federal levels. Building provider capacity through training, education, and technical assistance based on data and results-based best practices.
  • Homeless Shelter Director: provides listings on the following: Homeless Shelters, Homeless Service Organizations, Monetary Assistance, Transitional Housing, Free Clinics (Dental and Medical), Low Cost and Free Treatment Centers, Outreach Centers, Day Shelters, Relief Organizations that can help the needy, Women’s Shelters and Battered Women’s Services, Food Pantries, Soup Kitchens, Food Banks.
  • LawHelpNC.org: a guide to free and low cost legal aid, assistance and services for the homeless in North Carolina.
